The Turkish parliamentarians' group submitted a report to Prime Minister Receb Tayyib Erdogan who returned from U.S. visit concerning threat of recognizing "Armenian genocide" in U.S., the Turkish Huriyyet newspaper reported.
The report says that the Armenian lobbyists are too close to get support of Jews in U.S. and its Congress to recognize "genocide".
Official Yerevan and numerous Armenian diaspora organizations have been seeking to achieve other countries and parliaments to recognize "Armenian genocide" and urge Turkey to admit annihilating 1.5 million ethnic Armenians. Turkey denies these accusations and has severed diplomatic relations and blockaded borders with Armenia which is an important transport artery for Yerevan.
