Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu met with U.S Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Richard Holbrooke, Turk.net.
Davutoglu and Holbrooke exchanged views on issues related with Afghanistan and Pakistan.
Sources who spoke on condition of anonymity said Holbrooke praised Turkey's efforts in Afghanistan and its positive role in the rest of the region.
Davutoglu briefed Holbrooke on Turkey's aid to the region in the areas of education and economic development. Davutoglu also shared his impressions from his recent visits to Afghanistan and Pakistan in detail with Holbrooke during the meeting.
