Exports of steel from Turkey to Iran increased by 68.9 percent from January through May, 2021 compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to $19.9 million, the Turkish Trade Ministry told Trend.
In May 2021, the volume of steel exports from Turkey to Iran reached $3.6 million in value terms, which is 1.6 times more than in May last year.
Turkey increased export of steel by 48.9 percent from January through May 2021 compared to the same period of last year up to $7.2 billion.
Turkey exported steel worth $1.7 billion in May 2021, which is by 114 percent more than in May 2020.
Turkey’s export of steel reached $14.9 billion over the past 12 months (May 2020 - May 2021).
