Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr K. Ramazanova / In the near future the Azerbaijani Ministry of Youth & Sports will sign an agreement on cooperation with the Iranian National Youth Organization. The decision was made during a meeting between the Azerbaijani Minister for Youth & Sports Azad Rahimov and his Iranian counterpart Hojatuislam Ali Akbar.
" Iran and Azerbaijan are friendly countries and we have very much in common. There are several fields in which we can cooperate. Therefore, it is very important that the agreement is signed," Rahimov said. Cooperation between Christian and Muslim countries is very important, and youth organizations may play an important role in that. Azerbaijan is ready to take on the experience of Iranian children's and voluntary organizations. Cooperation among youth is the basis for bilateral cooperation in other fields, he said.
