Azerbaijan, Baku, 19 February / Trend corr R. Hafizoglu / The murder of Ayman Fayed, the leader of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization, could create serious problems for Israel. " Israel will be revenged upon," Khaled al-Batash, a leader of the Islamic Jihad, said to Trend.
According to media reports, on 16 February, a missile strike by the Israeli Air Force killed Ayman Fayed and his family.
Al-Batash said that this deed will not remain without revenge. "We have the right to seek revenge on Israel and in near future they will receive the response they deserve," he said from Palestine on 18 February.
According to al-Batash, by killing Fayed Israel has destined itself to a death sentence. "The Israeli Army is not geared up for open battles; therefore, true to its traitorous habits, it strikes from the air. We will not remain without vengeance after what they have done," he said.
On 11 February, the Israeli Defence Minster Ehud Barak stated that his country would undergo air strikes on the HAMAS and other radical organizations of Pakistan.
