Georgia, Tbilisi, Feb. 6 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia/

The Georgian non-governmental organization 42nd Article of the Constitution sent 391 complaints to the European Court in Strasbourg. The complaints are part of a lawsuit against Russia.

The complaints concern human rights violations, NGO representative Tamar Gabisoniya said on Feb. 6.

"The invaders and separatists violated human rights and private property. They subjected civilians to inhumane treatment and torture and persecuted people based on their nationality," Gabisoniya said.

The complaints are part of a lawsuit regarding the death of journalists Alexander Klimchuk and Georgi Chikhalidze who were killed in Tskhinvali on Aug. 8, she said.

Gabinsoniya said she hoped the European Court will examine the lawsuit soon.
