The question of lifting the visa regime between Azerbaijan and Turkey was discussed in Baku and Ankara, but it must pass all technical procedures, after which an agreement can be signed, said the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov on Dec. 25 in Ankara within his official visit to Turkey, Turkish TRT-2 channel reported.
Formerly Ankara made an initiative to lift the visa regime with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijani citizens traveling to Turkey can stay in this country without a visa for three months. Currently, this period is one month.
