Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev congratulated the King of Bahrain Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
"On my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, I warmly congratulate You and all Your people on the national holiday. I am sure that Azerbaijani-Bahraini relations will continue to develop and expand in line with friendship and cooperation for the benefit of our peoples," said the congratulatory letter.
Ilham Aliyev wished Sheikh Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa good health, success in activities, the friendly people of Bahrain - peace and prosperity.
Azerbaijani President also sent a letter of congratulation to Kazakhstan's President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The Head of State congratulated President and people of Kazakhstan on behalf of the Azerbaijani people and on his behalf on the National Holiday - Day of Independence: "I am sure that Azerbaijani-Kazakh friendship having rich traditions, interstate relations based on mutual confidence and support, cooperation both bilateral and within the international organizations will always serve the interests, prosperity of our nations, contribute to maintenance of peace and tranquility in our region".
