List of those to be represented in Iran’s government ready

The process of drawing up a list of persons to be represented in the Cabinet of Ministers of Iran is nearing completion, a representative of the newly elected president of Iran Hassan Rouhani, Mohammedreza Sadiq told Trend.

Sadiq expressed his confidence that this list will be submitted to the Parliament on the day of the inauguration ceremony, as President Rouhani has stated earlier.

Presidential spokesman described publications in the Iranian media, containing the names of the future members of the government, as forecasts, adding that the real names of the candidates will be announced in the near future.

It should be noted that the inauguration ceremony of the newly elected president of Iran Hassan Rouhani will take place on August 4. He will meet with Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday.

Rouhani will participate in a ceremony known as tanfiz (validity), during which the Supreme Leader formally appoints the Iranian president.

This important event is only attended by senior regime officials, including the Supreme Leader and his chief of staff, the heads of the judiciary and Expediency Council, current cabinet members, senior military commanders, and members of parliament.

The Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei formally grants the president his authority, with Parliament only ceremonially witnessing this appointment, is symbolic of the relationship between Iran's republican institutions and the Supreme Leader.

Yesterday, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said goodbye to the Iranian people.
