CERNOBBIO, Italy, September 6. The 50th Anniversary International Cernobbio Forum (TEHA Forum) on “Today's and Tomorrow's Scenario for Competitive Strategies,” organized by Italian think tank “The European House—Ambrosetti,” has started its work in Italy, Trend reports.

According to the information, the traditional forum, which will be held from September 6 through 8 at Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como, is expected to be attended by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giorgia Meloni, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orbán and Queen of Jordan Rania Al Abdullah. To this end, Italian President Sergio Mattarella sent a video message to the participants of the international event.

The forum will feature heads of state and government from six countries, leaders of 13 local administrative bodies, and 11 Italian ministers - overall, speakers on political, academic, institutional, and business topics, along with guests from 27 countries. Each year, the forum hosts 300 speakers and is covered by up to 400 journalists. The socio-economic benefit of the forum for Italy is approximately four million euro, with its contribution to the country's GDP totaling two million euro.

The international event, the Cernobbio Forum, held annually since 1975 in September, addresses current issues and challenges facing the global economy and society. The first day of the event is typically dedicated to global issues in economic, geopolitical, scientific, and technological fields. The second day focuses on Europe, discussing the most pressing issues related to the European Union. The third day is dedicated to Italy and features participation from government representatives, officials, and key figures in business and finance.

This year's forum at Villa d'Este includes a photo exhibition titled "50-year view of the world".
