I shall do all my best to reach the signing of economic agreements between Azerbaijan and Poland, Bogdan Borusevich, Speaker of Poland's Senate, said during the today's press-conference, Trend reports.
He pointed out that over 50 Polish producers participated at the Polish national exhibition - Poland Expo. They are showing a great interest to Azerbaijan's economy. Ten percent of these companies have already had relations with Azerbaijan, said the Polish Speaker. Mr. Borusevich said that Azerbaijan is one of the most perspective markets for Poland not only in the fuel and energy sector.
Ogtay Assadov, Speaker of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijan's Parliament), who took part in the press-conference, said that Poland Expo opened an interesting possibilities for Azerbaijani businessmen. An agreement with one of the firms has already been signed at the exhibition. He also added that relations between Azerbaijan and Poland have historical roots. Azerbaijan's President and Government of the Country are interested in cooperation with Poland. The interests of Polish entrepreneurs coincide with those of Azerbaijan, said the Azerbaijani Speaker.
