New Head of Red Cross Baku Delegation Designated

Azerbaijan, Baku, 26 September / Trend corr. K.Zarbaliyeva/ A new head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) delegation in Azerbaijan has been designated, Committee said to Trend on 26 September.

Tun Vandenhoof will today take his new duties. He was promoted from the position of ICRC Administrator to Croatia, ICRC representative to Georgia, Angola, Congo, Kenya, Ethiopia, deputy head of ICRC delegations in Ethiopia and Serbia, head of ICRC delegations in Macedonia and Sri-Lanka.

Vandenhoof will replace his Swiss colleague Martin Amacher, who has been leading the ICRC delegation in Azerbaijan for 2 years.
