Leyla Yunus has always led anti-Azerbaijani activity, betraying everyone for her own interests, Azerbaijani MP Sahib Aliyev said Dec. 8 at the presentation of the book titled “Splendor and Misery of Leyla Yunus.”
Sahib Aliyev noted that the book uncovers the guts of Leyla Yunus.
“She betrayed Azerbaijan,” the MP said. “She betrayed all human rights activists and put them at risk.”
Circles financing Yunus, those who bought palaces, villas for her in many countries, allowed her to accumulate huge amounts of money in her bank account, shape certain opinion about such “social viruses” as her, the MP noted.
“They tried to impose such a “social virus” as Leyla Yunus on Azerbaijani society and present her as a “leader” of public opinion,” Aliyev said.
He stressed that Leyla Yunus resorted to the most disgusting means in her deeds against Azerbaijan.
“In anticipation of the Baku 2015 European Games, she said the European structures should be told to focus on the fact that Armenia is a “supporter of peace”, while Azerbaijan isn’t,” the MP added. “This is just one episode. It is clear what a person doing this is capable of.”
