An event titled Day of Azerbaijan has been recently held in the French city Tuluza at the initiative of Azerbaijan communities and Azerbaijani students, the State Committee on Azerbaijanis residing abroad told Trend.
The event with the active participation of the Association of Azerbaijani students in France demonstrated Azerbaijani carpets, national suits, musical instruments, books and video films, reflecting rich culture of our nation. In the end of the event the guests saw national dances in the performance of Azerbaijani students and listened to national music.
Along with Azerbaijani, Frenchmen, representatives from Diaspora organizations of the Turkic nations currently residing in France were also in attendance. The State Committee sent necessary means to organizers of the event with respect organize the event in he high level and inform the participants about Azerbaijan.
