Azerbaijani Company to Open Automobile Insurance Centre

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / Azerbaijan's Pasa Sigorta insurance company plans to open an automobile insurance centre, the deputy director general of the company, Nofel Rzayev, said. The decision was caused by rapid rise of automobile insurance in Azerbaijan.

"Opening of the centre will depend on financial indexes of 9 months,' he said.

In the 1st half of 2007 the company collected premiums in the sum of AZN 1.79mln with payments of AZN 0.02mln.

The company is intensively working with corporative clients such as Bakielektriksebeke, Azersu, KPMC, Petrotrans, Rzayev said.

Speaking on the plans of the company, Rzayev said that the delegation of Pasa Sigorta is expected to participate in the annual re-insurers forum to take place in Baden-Baden in October, where Pasa Sigorta will have 18 meetings with world's largest companies for further cooperation.
