Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan / corr Trend E. Mammadov / A new concrete and asphalt plant with production capacity has been opened in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan. The plant has a 60t per hour production capability, the Parliament of Nakhchivan said. The cost of the enterprise is $180,000.
The equipment of the plant is supplied by Iran. The plant has concrete storage in the capacity of 2,500t, two separately placed reservoirs with the capacity of 25t, and 180t of concrete in stock.
The administrative building of the Nakhchivan road repair and construction unit was also built in the territory of the new plant factory which was built by LTD Ajemi.
Vasif Talibov, the Speaker of NAR Parliament, participated in the opening ceremony of the new plant.
In 2007 approximately twenty-seven new industrial enterprises were put into operation in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
