Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 August / Trend , G.Veliyev /
Azerbaijan Processing Center, Milli Kart LLC, successfully tested a new mobile GSM/GPRS POS-Terminal VeriFone Vx610, a source at the Central Bank of Azerbaijan told Trend . Milli Kart is owned by 18 banks.
According to the source, today the banks serving in the system of Milli Kart displayed an interest in the implementation of these POS-terminals. The project is implemented jointly with the companies Mobiltim and NBA Technologies. The new GSM/GPRS POS-Terminal VeriFone Vx610 has a high speed of work with difficult applications. Programmed module of secrecy gives an opportunity to adapt the terminal to any safe scheme of management.
New mobile terminal provides an opportunity to place the point of the credit cards practically anywhere. Shops can rapidly increase the number of points receiving payments using plastic cards, for example, to immediately open an additional point of payment at the supermarket or accept cards in amusement parks, clubs or restaurants.
The terminal has all necessary devices and requires no additional external equipment or the base for recharging. The sensitive external antenna allows the terminal to conduct transactions in stable conditions with low GSM signal. Telecommunications services are provided through a network of mobile operator Azercell Telecom.
Milli Kart was established on July 14, 2006 after 18 commercial banks of the country purchased card payment processing center from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
Founders of the center are Atabank, Azerdemiryolbank, AzerTurkbank, Bank of Baku, Azerbaijan Senayye Bankasi, Debutbank, Amrahbank, Xalq Bank, Credo Bank, Access Bank, ParaBank, RabitaBank, Bank Respublika, Bank Standard, Texnika Bank, Turan Bank, UniBank and Zamin Bank.
