Georgia, Tbilisi, Sept. 8 / Trend , N.Kirtzkhalia/

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili has begun to implement his idea of turning the village of Ganmukhuri, on the administrative border with Abkhazia, into an international resort. In connection with this, the President has invited Spanish architects and designers, who have been engaged in decorating Batumi Boulevard, to the village.

When he visited the village two weeks ago the President announced his intention to turn Ganmukhuri into the Black Sea's best resort; the village was improved last year, but later burned in Russia's occupation.

Saakashvili briefed the Spanish experts on Ganmukhuri's opportunities, its location and potential.

Saakashvili said that a special presidential program, which will develop Ganmukhuri as an international resort, is currently being devised.
