The Uzbek Ipak Yuli has increased its share in Barak from 16.2 percent to 52.5 percent.

The bank bought an additional issue of Barak's shares to the amount of 1.3 billion soums to increase the share capital by 76.5 percent - up to 3 billion soums. About 130,000 ordinary shares worth 10,000 soums each were issued.

Barak company was established in 1996 in the form of a subsidiary of the Uzbek Association of Banks. One of the main tasks is to conduct leasing operations at the request of commercial banks in the republic to equip them with modern banking facilities and computer equipment. It also provides customers of banks and other financial institutions with the full range of leasing services, including consulting services.

The authorized capital was 1.7 billion soums.
