Consolidated production volume of oil and gas condensate at the group of companies KazMunaiGas (KMG) amounted to 22.491,000 metric tons in 2014, the head of the national company KazMunaiGas Sauat Mynbayev said at a briefing in Astana Feb.9.
"Natural gas production reached 4,736 million cubic meters, a 6 percent increase (267 million cubic meters) in comparison with the plan of 2014," said Mynbayev.
He said that the volume of oil transportation through main pipelines totaled 64.005,000 metric tons and has grown by 1 percent in comparison with the plan.
Transportation of oil across the Caspian Sea for the period amounted to 9.606,000 metric tons and was 9 percent higher than the planned target.
"Transportation of gas pipeline reached 105,432 million cubic meters," said the head of the national company. "In particular, the international transit of this amount was 78,661 million cubic meters, internal transportation - 15,607 million cubic meters, and transportation for export - 11,164 million cubic meters."
KazMunaiGas National Company JSC is the Kazakh national operator for exploration, production, refining and transportation of hydrocarbons. National Welfare Fund Samruk-Kazyna JSC owns 100 percent of the shares of KazMunaiGas NC JSC.
