Azerbaijani subsidiary of Turkey’s Yapi Kredi Bank completes Q2 with loss

Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC has completed the 2Q 2016 with a loss of 1.24 million manats (1.5851 AZN/USD on Aug.1).

Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC has completed the 2Q 2016 with a loss of 1.24 million manats (1.5851 AZN/USD on Aug.1), says the bank’s balance sheet on the results of 1H 2016.

The bank’s revenues amounted to 30.7 million manats during the period, while the expenditures totaled 22.94 million manats.

Assets of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan amounted to 394.88 million manats in January-June 2016. A major part of the bank’s assets accounted for its loan portfolio that amounted to 230.15 million manats. Some 104.33 million manats equivalent of this volume were issued in foreign currency.

Yapi Kredi Bank’s liabilities totaled 331.73 million manats during the reporting period, the authorized capital – 46.81 million manats and the aggregate capital – 63.15 million manats.

Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan, previously Kocbank Azerbaijan Ltd CJSC was founded in partnership of Kocbank Inc. (80%), controlled by Turkey’s Koc Holding and the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank (20%).
