The Trade and Services 2018 Exhibition-Fair is finishing its work in Ashgabat on June 28, Turkmenistan's Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations announced.
The event was aimed at promoting the Turkmen agriculture, food and industry products. More than 50 companies and institutions opened their stands in the Expocentre.
Among them is Turkmenexport, specializing in cross-border trade, Howdan-Bajygyran, and Ashgabat City Association of Markets. The trading houses of Turkmenistan in foreign countries also were among the participants of the show.
Turkmenistan grows cotton, wheat, rice, and sugar beet. Earlier, it was reported that the government of the Russian Federation approved a draft agreement with the government of Turkmenistan on cooperation in agriculture.
