Azerbaijan’s large flour producer, Karmen factory increased the production output up by 18-20 percent in 1Q2020, compared to the same period of last year, Ilgar Ahmadov, marketing director of the factory told Trend.
According to him, the factory produces several flour grades.
“The factory produces the first-, second- and high-grade flour, as well as flour bran. The products are designed only for the domestic market and sold in 50 kg packages. The high-grade flour is sold at a price of 25 manat [$14.7], while other grades - at 18 manat [$10.59] and 15 manat [$8.8] per 50 kg package. The products are in high demand and competitive in the market,” the director said.
“The factory’s production capacity amounts to 300 tons per day and fully covers the domestic demand. It’s planned to increase the volumes to 350-400 tons in the late 2020,” added Ahmadov.
The products of Karmen LLC have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.
The factory uses German, Turkish and Iranian equipment for the flour production.
