German HORN Glass Industries is building a flat glass plant for Zarafshon Oyna in Zarafshan, Trend reports with reference to the Glass International website.

A company from Plesburg, Germany is responsible for the planning, supply, and commissioning of all process equipment at the site. The plant, with a capacity of 250 tons of flat glass per day, began receiving equipment in May. The construction is planned to be completed in summer 2021.

The plant being built will meet the needs of Uzbekistan in sheet glass, which is currently imported from abroad.

The plant will be equipped with modern full-cycle Siemens automated equipment. The specialists plan to expand production in the future so that processing and finishing can also be carried out on the territory of the plant.
