Iran Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade has formed a policymaking council for the home appliance industry and drafting an operational plan to develop the industry, said the deputy minister.
The draft for operational development of the home appliance industry has been finalized, Mehdi Sadaki Niaraki, Trend reports citing IRNA.
Niaraki indicated that the target of the home appliance industry policy making council is to improve the production cycle, import and export management, development and strengthening of domestic production, empowerment of factories, and increasing sustainability in export markets.
"Create and development of branding capacities, creation, and development of big investments, immediate replacement of domestic production with foreign production, development of export to neighbor countries, relative sustainability in supply chain and development of research centers are important capacities of this drafted plan," he noted.
Niaraki went on to express that the following plan has four main solutions for development including organizing and empowerment of active and semi-active factories, branding and development of export markets, and increase of value and creating a culture to purchase Iranian commodities and confront smuggling.
