Azerbaijani banks increased the volume of issued business loans by 10.25 percent from January through October 2021 compared to early 2021 - up to 9.3 billion manat ($5.5 billion), Trend reports on Nov. 24 with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This figure increased by 7.7 percent on an annualized basis.
Azerbaijani banks issued business loans worth 8.7 billion manat ($5.1 billion) from January through October 2021.
The loan portfolio of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 15.9 billion manat ($9.3 billion) as of late October 2021.
Some 4.3 billion manat ($2.5 billion) and 2.3 billion manat ($1.3 billion) accounted for consumer and mortgage loans, respectively, in the structure of the loan portfolio.
