BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 26. Overall, Iran exported about 414,000 tons of non-oil products worth over $61 million to Qatar through the customs of Bushehr Province (southern Iran), during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), Customs Inspector of Bushehr Province Customs Office Ali Soleimani told IRNA, Trend reports.
The official noted that a total of 160 types of non-oil products were exported to Qatar through the province's customs. The main exported goods were cement, watermelons, melons, tomatoes, various greens, cabbage, construction materials, shrimps, etc.
“About 133,000 tons of agricultural and food products worth more than $44.5 million, as well as 274,000 tons of various minerals and mining materials worth more than $15 million were exported in 8 months,” Soleimani said.
Soleimani also pointed out that more than 252,000 tons of products were exported to Qatar through the customs of Bushehr Special Economic Zone, 133,000 tons through the customs of Dayyer port, 18,500 tons through the customs of the Kangan port and more than 8,000 tons through the customs of the Genaveh port.
