Bakielektrikshebeke (electricity sale and distribution in Baku) bought 5.96 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity in January-September from Azerenergy (electricity production and distribution in Azerbaijani regions) compared to 5.42 billion kilowatt-hours in January-August, the company reported.
The company bought about 7.92 billion kilowatt-hours in 2010 compared to about 8.1 billion kilowatt hours in 2009 from Azerenergy.
The company bought 537.6 million kilowatt-hours in September compared to 635.8 million kilowatt hours in August from Azerenergy.
Bakielektrikshebeke paid on average 93.2 percent in January-September for electricity from Azerenergy compared to about 91.8 percent in January-August. In September this figure hit 104.3 percent compared to 96 percent in August.
In 2010 this figure hit 96.2 percent compared to 84.44 percent on average in 2009.
