With shortening of the repair period at Iran’s South Pars Gas Complex, production at the complex will reach 7.4 billion cubic meters of gas, Trend reports with reference to Executive Director of South Pars Gas Complex Hadi Hashemzadeh Farhang.

He said that last Iranian year (started March 21, 2018), the repair works at the complex were planned to be held for 201 days. In his words, the repair will actually take 174 days, and this will lead to an increase in the gas production. “The overhaul period at the complex has been reduced by 27 days,” Hadi Hashemzadeh Farhang said.

The South Pars/North Dome field is the world’s biggest gas field shared by Iran and Qatar in the Persian Gulf.
