French company ready to co-op with Uzbekistan in renewable energy sources

France Exportea company is ready to establish cooperation with Uzbek companies in the field of agriculture, renewable energy sources, including solar energy, Trend reports referring to Uzbek embassy in France.

In order to deepen and expand cooperation with French regions, a trip was organized for representatives of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in France to the administrative center of the Occitania region in Toulouse, within which diplomats, together with North-South French Agency for Economic and Cultural Development, organized a business forum with the participation of business and scientific and educational circles of the region.

Speaking at the event, President of North-South Agency for Economic and Cultural Development Gilbert Salinas noted that recently more and more representatives of French business circles are showing interest in Uzbekistan.

According to Salinas, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of a delegation of business circles of the region to Uzbekistan in September 2021, within the framework of which it is planned to hold a business seminar and a cooperation exchange, as well as separate meetings in the involved ministries and departments to discuss the prospects for trade and economic cooperation.

Also, the head of Air Marine Gilles Olichon, having shown interest in establishing ties with Uzbekistan, stressed that he intends to implement projects using new modern technologies, in particular, on unmanned monitoring of borders and categorized objects.

In addition, President of France Exportea Benoit Rigal said that with the assistance of the Embassy, ​​it was possible to establish contacts with Uzbek business circles, in particular from the Surkhandarya region.

Rigal expressed readiness to visit Uzbekistan in September next year as part of a delegation of Occitanian business circles to establish cooperation with Uzbek companies in the field of agriculture, renewable energy sources, including solar energy, as well as new technologies in the field of healthcare.
