Czechia imports almost 170M euros worth petroleum oils from Azerbaijan

Czechia imported 456,906 tons of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude worth 169.7 million euros from January through May 2021, Eurostat told Trend.

No petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals were supplied from Azerbaijan to Czechia in January and February 2021.

This figure stood at 105,711 tons in March, 175,928 tons in April, and 175,267 tons in May.

The value of exports is as follows: 35.6 million euros in March, 69.9 million euros in April and 64.2 million euros in May.

The export of petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, crude from Azerbaijan to 27 European Union (EU) countries exceeded 3.2 billion euros from January through May 2021.

The data released by Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy shows that the country exported about 14 million tons of oil with condensate from January through June 2021, which is by 667,000 tons or 4.8 percent, less than in the same period of last year.
