A total of 420 billion rials (about $10 million) worth of loans have been issued to 22 industrial enterprises in the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province (western Iran) since the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 20, 2020), Chariman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Province Sajjad Rostami said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.
The chairman noted that the loans have been issued to 11 enterprises as working capital, to 10 enterprises as investments and to 1 enterprise for renewal.
Rostami added that with the issuance of these loans, the conditions have been created for the employment of 220 more people.
“Furthermore, the problems of 14 enterprises in the area of industry, cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts of the province were researched,” he said.
The chairman stressed that these problems were mainly related to the freezing of loans, re-issuance of bank loans and strengthening of infrastructure.
