Namazov said the Kazakhstan has received and is already studying Azerbaijan's experience in the field of the tax system automation. A delegation of the Belarusian Tax Service has also already arrived in the country to familiarize itself with the Azerbaijani system.

SayberNet is the developer of the Automated Tax Information System (ATIS), which is used by the Azerbaijani Tax Ministry. The system sends and receives tax returns electronically. The system is based on an Oracle platform.

The ATIS includes 36 subsystems including -- receiving declarations and desk audits, working with tax reports, and investigating tax crimes, among many other functions.

ATIS also reduces the number of tax audits and improves tax control.
