Azerbaijani digital trade hub Azexport introduced online notification system informing entrepreneurs about received orders via WhatsApp messenger, Azexport head Zaur Gardashov told Trend on Feb. 7.
“Only entrepreneurs registered on the portal are eligible to use the notification system,” Gardashov added.
To register, entrepreneurs must send "Qoşul" (in Azerbaijani) keyword to +994 50 295 86 87 mobile number.
In 2017, Azexport portal received export orders for delivery of non-oil products worth $500 million. Cotton, knitwear, eggs, poultry meat and other products were exported via the portal.
The orders were received from 71 countries.
Azexport was created in accordance with the president’s order on creation of a unified database of goods produced in Azerbaijan, dated Sept. 21, 2016.
The portal aims to provide information on Azerbaijani goods and a favorable platform for their sale in foreign and domestic markets.
