Baku telecom operator reduces internet prices

Baku Telephone Communication LLC has increased the speed of internet access through GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Networks) technology, the company told Trend Oct. 1.

The changes concerned the tariff plans offered by the operator at a price of 18 and 26 manats. The internet speed in these tariff plans was increased from 10 to 15 Mbps and from 20 Mbps to 25 Mbps, respectively. These packages also include a fixed-line telephone service.

The operator also reduced the price of packages with the internet speed of 50 and 100 Mbps. The price of these packages was reduced from 55 to 50 manats and from 150 to 120 manats, respectively.

The minimum internet speed offered by the operator via GPON technology is 2 Mbps, which costs 10 manats.
