In 2017, 37,041 tenders were held in Ankara and Turkey, the country’s Electronic Public Procurement Platform told Trend Jan. 24.
Out of the total volume, 21,503 tenders were held on procurement of goods, 12,697 tenders – in the services sector, 2,707 tenders – in construction sector, and 134 tenders – on consulting services.
In 2017, 26,170 tenders were held in Istanbul, and 15,015 of these tenders were conducted on procurement of goods, 9,062 tenders – in the services sector, 2,015 tenders – in construction sector, and 78 tenders – in the sphere of consulting services.
In 2016, 32,137 tenders were held in Ankara, while 27,720 tenders were held in Istanbul.
