EC issues €1M for higher education reform in 2009

European Commission issues €1 million for higher education reforms under the Tempus program implementation in Kyrgyzstan, the EC mission in Kyrgyzstan informed.

The program is being implemented through annual contests among universities. "Since 2000 the Tempus program has granted Kyrgyzstan €5.6 million for various projects which involved almost all large universities of the country.  In 2008 four projects won sponsorship of €1.75 million," the message added, reported 24.kg.
