At least 12 international observers accredited for presidential election in Kyrgyzstan

The Central Election Commission on reported Friday that at least 12 international observers have been accredited to monitor presidential election in Kyrgyzstan.

As to the member of the commission Kanybai Mamatkerimov, three of them are representatives of Korea, two and two represent Belarus and Tajikistan, three - Azerbaijan, one person represents Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Eurasian Economic Community and three - the Secretariat of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, news agency "24.kg" reported.

Only one applicant was reportedly denied accreditation. "Alexander Maryshev, Adviser of the EurAsEC Inter - Parliamentary Assembly, turned out to be a citizen of Kyrgyzstan that hinders his international observer role," Mamatkerimov said.
