BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 28. The Eurasian Development Bank is ready to expand its investment portfolio in Tajikistan, Trend reports citing the press service of Tajikistan's Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.
During the meeting, Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavki Zavkizoda with the Chairman of the EDB Board Nikolay Podguzov considered prospects for expansion of mutual cooperation and attraction of additional concessional funds.
Zavkizoda asked the chairman of the EDB to expand its support for the development of Tajikistan's green economy, social sector, digital economy, and boosting export potential.
As a result, Podguzov expressed his readiness to increase funding for projects in these areas and assured that the Bank's investment portfolio in Tajikistan will increase to 5 percent.
