BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. The decision of the Vilnius Court of Commercial Arbitration (VCCA) to seize $20 million from Tajik Air in favor of the Lithuania's Skyroad Leasing company is being processed by the Supreme Economic Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, Director-General of Tajik Air OJSC Dilshod Ismatullozoda said at a press conference in Dushanbe on July 28, Trend reports citing Tajik media.

“We honestly expressed our consent with this decision,” he said. “However, the company is currently facing financial challenges that got even worse due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we had to ask the Supreme Economic Court for a delay.”

He expressed hope for signing the settlement agreement to outline the resolution to a dispute between the sides.
