BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 23. The World Food Programme (WFP) has published a 'Market Situation Update' for Tajikistan for November 14-20, Trend reports with reference to the WFP.
According to WFP, an average gasoline price (per 1 liter) in the retail markets of Tajikistan as of 14 November 2022 amounted to 10.2 somoni ($1), which is a decrease of 2 percent compared to the previous month.
During the reporting period, the lowest prices of gasoline were recorded in Tajikistan's Khujand 8.9 somoni ($0.87) and in the capital Dushanbe 9 somoni ($0.88) per 1 liter. However, in Khorog the price increased by 26 percent over the month - up to 13.6 somoni ($1.33).
Meanwhile, the average price of the diesel fuel across the country, as of November 14, reached 12.4 somoni ($1.2).
As of November 23, 2022, the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of Tajikistan is TJS 10,2/1USD.
