DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, September 9. Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a thumbs up to the fruitful teamwork between Russia and Tajikistan in a congratulatory message to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of Tajikistan's Independence Day, Trend reports.
“Relations between our countries are steadily developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. Russia and Tajikistan collaborate effectively across various fields and engage actively within the frameworks of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the United Nations, and other multilateral structures,” Putin stated.
He drove home the point that bolstering Russian-Tajik relations is right up our alley and adds fuel to the fire of security and stability in Central Asia.
To note, September 9 marks the 33rd anniversary of Tajikistan's state independence.
