Weekly review of trading at Turkmenistan's commodity exchange

The total amount of transactions at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan exceeded $39.5 million last week, Trend reports referring to Turkmen media reported on Nov. 9.

According to the information, entrepreneurs from Russia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, Afghanistan, Hong Kong and Uzbekistan purchased polypropylene, aviation kerosene, diesel fuel and hydrotreated diesel fuel produced at the Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries.

In addition, business representatives from Russia, the UAE, Turkey and Uzbekistan purchased denim, cotton yarn and float glass.

It is reported that entrepreneurs from the UK and Kazakhstan sold cotton yarn for a total amount of 21.5 million manats ($6.3 million).

At the same time, domestic businessmen purchased petroleum bitumen and hand-made carpets in the amount of 1.4 million manat ($410,795).

In total, 55 transactions were registered at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
