Syrian foreign minister due in Iran for talks
(IRNA) - Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem left here for Tehran Monday to hold talks with senior Iranian officials.
Al-Moualem is scheduled to hold consultations with Iranian officials on bilateral relations and current developments in the region, reports Trend.
The visit comes a day after Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani concluded a visit to Damascus.
Larijani was in Syria for a day-long visit Sunday and left Damascus for Tehran Monday.
