Gold coin was traded in Iran at 14,750,000 rials (about $325.2 at the free market rates) on Feb. 21, indicating a drop of 0.76 percent compared to the preceding day.
According to data on the website of the Tehran Gold and Jewelry Union, one gram of the 18-karat gold was priced at 1,432,520 rials (about $31.5), giving up 0.76 percent compared to the preceding day.
According to the country’s real-time data sharing system, SANA, euro valued 56,033 rials in the free market, losing 0.75 percent. The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) put the official rate of euro at 45,841 rials.
The USD was quoted at 45,399 rials in the free market declining 0.62 percent compared to the preceding day. The CBI put the official rate for the greenback at 37,175 rials.
