USA not to allow Georgia’s breakdown: President

The President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili said that the U.S. Vice President Joe Biden promised during the meeting with him in Munich on Feb. 8 that Washington will continue providing financial aid to Tbilisi.

Saakashvili briefed the media that Biden held "sufficient long and very concrete meeting" with the Georgian delegation."Specifics are that the USA will continue rendering financial aid to Georgia, which is very important against the background of the global crisis," Georgian leader said.

Furthermore, Saakashvili stated that the USA will not allow the breakdown of Georgia.

"The USA will not allow the split of separate regions into the spheres of influence. Georgia will no longer return to the previous sphere of influence, which desire our ill-wishers," he added, Interfax reports.
