Georgia’s exports to Turkmenistan from January through November 2021 totaled $10.3 million, which is a decrease of 12.7 percent, compared to $11.8 million worth of exports over the first 11 months of 2020, Trend reports via National Statistics Office (Geostat).
TOP-5 commodities exported from Georgia to Turkmenistan (Jan. through Nov. 2021):
Industrial supplies – $4.8 million;
Food and beverages – $3.2 million;
Capital goods – $1.1 million;
Consumer goods – $899,390;
Transport equipment – $257,590.
The foreign trade turnover between Georgia and Turkmenistan over the reporting period of 2021 increased by 153.6 percent, compared to $78.4 million over the same period of 2020, and amounted to $198.9 million.
Georgian total foreign trade turnover (excluding undeclared trade) from January through November 2021 amounted to $12.8 billion, which is 25.1 percent more than over the same period of 2020 – $10.2 billion.
