BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Ministry of Finance of Georgia shared results of the recent treasury bill auction, Trend reports via the National Bank of Georgia (NBG).
Some 20 million Georgian lari ($6.5 million) worth of securities with a maturity of 1 year was sold at Georgia’s Ministry of Finance Treasury Bill Auction on May 10, 2022.
According to the NBG, five commercial banks participated in the auction. The total demand amounted to 73 million Georgian lari ($24 million), while the minimum yield was 10.5 percent, and the maximum - was 10.6 percent.
Meanwhile, at the last auction held on May 3, 2022, 20 million Georgian lari ($6.5 million) worth of securities with a maturity of 6 months were sold. The total demand amounted to 67 million Georgian lari ($22 million), while the minimum yield was 10.8 percent, and the maximum - was 11 percent.
