A Fatah official on Monday urged all the Palestinian factions to accept any Egyptian-offered draft for the national Palestinian reconciliation, Xinhua reported.
"If any Palestinian party did not sign on the Egyptian's solution to the Palestinian crisis, it will be creating a new problem and will keep the split and siege on," said Ibraheem Abu al-Najja, a leader of president Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah movement.
The Islamic Hamas movement and Fatah held several talks in Cairo in a bid to reach an agreement on a national unity to end the political split between the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip and the Fatah-ruled West Bank.
The dialogue seeks to overcome the consequences of Hamas's violent takeover of Gaza in 2007, including the schism and the Israeli blockade on the Hamas-controlled territory.
On June 5, Egypt will announce its vision to settle the Palestinian crisis and will be protected by support from the Arab nations, according to Abu al-Najja.
During their talks, Hamas and Fatah failed to reach a notable progress and it seemed that they put their files before the Egyptian mediators to hear a compromise solution.
