At least 10 people were injured in a bomb attack in a popular tourist destination in Cairo's old city on Sunday evening, witnesses told Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa.
Witnesses said one bomb exploded near Hussein Square in Cairo's Medieval quarter, injuring at least 10 people.
Police discovered a second bomb, witnesses said, and a bomb squad was at work defusing it as of 19:30 pm (17:30 GMT).
The injured were reportedly taken to Ahmed Maher hospital and Hussein hospital close by.
No further details were immediately available.
